Like most young children she's adventurous and curious, which often gets her into trouble. She is attention seeking and dislikes being so small, and especially hates it when people ignore her or don't acknoweldge her. One of Molly's favorite pastimes is listening to her favorite radio show, Danger Woman. She often dons a red cape and sieve (on her head) and pretends that she herself is danger woman which, more often than not, winds her up in even more trouble.

Molly, being an only child and living with only her mother, has sort of adopted Baloo as a father figure and Kit as an older brother to fill the void, which neither of them mind. The fate of Molly's true father unknown, as he is never really mentioned in the series.
