In 1991 Disney published 'Plunder and Lightning', in 4 parts, as a comic book. They were released monthly January - April, 1991.
The series apparantly sold quite well, as Talespin went on to become a regular monthly comic. Sadly though, only a further 7 issues were released. Publication stoped rather abruptely - issue 7 (the last issue released) had a preview synopsis of next months story, but unfortunatly no issue 8 ever hit the shelves.
